Or another way of saying this...
TO ALL THOSE “HATERS” OF MEGA-MINISTRY LEADERSHIP ;)
We always need to constantly and consistently be receiving first-hand revelation from God. We all should also be developing a first-hand relationship with the LORD Himself. Both should first come by through reading and studying His Word. However, I’m also extremely thankful and grateful to God for the second hand revelation and ministry associations of 3 other ministers of the gospel. It was through them that I received a proper scriptural and spiritual foundational in my life and ministry. It was like attending Bible School. Those 3 people are:
DR. CREFLO A. DOLLAR, JOYCE MEYER, and especially, DR. CHARLES STANLEY.
When I first rededicated my life to Him and He baptized me in the Holy Ghost, His Spirit led me into a deeper understanding and relationship with Him. Then God did something that would be beneficial for me. God knew that I needed to be under some strong Biblical ministry leadership. He could have developed a strong biblical foundation for my life and ministry solely from Himself, much like the Apostle Paul did when he was apart from the other disciples in Arabia. All of that is very important for our spiritual growth. But God in His infinite wisdom knew that I needed the extra help to grow stronger in Him.
So He chose for me "to eat from the fruit of the learning tree" 3 different teaching ministries, in order to develop that powerful foundation for my life and the lives of others. He wanted me to understand the spiritual revelations He gave them, to learn from their life experiences, and to be fed by their ministerial resources. I think God likes to break us "out of the religious boxes" we put Him in. In other words, God enjoys blowing our MINDS!
If it wasn’t for the strength I discovered in their teachings, the encouragement I received from their messages, and their ministries prayers, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Sometimes listening to them even forced me to face the hard reality
about life difficult circumstances. Now I want you to understand something extemely important that I've heard them say on severeal occasions. All of those ministry leaders have stated that “if they speak anything contrary to the Word of God, then we should get rid of it and believe the Bible first.” So if I didn’t agree with a teaching lesson, it’s my responsibility to search the Bible and make sure it’s accurate with the entirety of the Scriptures. If it was, I’d pray to receive it. If not, then I’d reject it.
What every believer should realize is this; There was only one perfect man,
The LORD Jesus Christ. He IS TRUTH, has always lived and spoken THE TRUTH, and
cannot lie or become false. Man is imperfect, and will ALWAYS make mistakes and
fall short. That’s why we must always be gracious and merciful to others,
especially those who God has anointed in leadership above us. If you don't listen to anything I've said already, please don't miss what I say next. So buckle your seatbelts and be prepared for what comes next...
We should NEVER, EVER, EVER speak out against any person whom GOD has anointed or appointed.
David learned this when he dealt with King Saul. David realized that principle, even though he was anointed to become King of Israel, he made sure not to touch nor harm “God’s Anointed”. It was true in the OT, and God hasn’t switched sides in the New; it’s still relevant today!
THE Bible is our guidebook, for discerning the truth. Praying and submitting
to God keeps us in right relationship with the Truth.
And finally, we are never called to PLACE ANY ONE PERSON, TEACHING,
DOCTRINE, CHURCH, ORGANIZATION, OR ANYTHING ABOVE GOD.
That’s the First Commandment, folks...
EX 20: 1-3 (KJV)
“1And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the Lord thy God, which
have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME.
As Jesus’s disciples, we’re called to live a balanced life. Let’s make sure
that we put everything in the proper perspective!
